ABOUT MYSELF

I'm Shoko Hino.
Some of you may be surprised when you see photos of me.
I have no hair as you can see.
I've had alopecia ever since I was 21 years old.
It happened all of a sudden and my hair fell out steadily.
At that time I got depressed so I didn't want to go outside and meet someone new.
Luckily I have my wonderful family and friends who always encourage me when I feel down.
I think that's why I could accept that Alopecia is part of me and love myself.
Alopecia made me a stronger person than before.
I'm grateful that I could realize that there are wonderful family and friends around me.
Rather than thinking why do I have Alopecia, I'll always keep my face to the sunshine.
I believe that I can encourage people who are suffering from Alopecia.
I want to make you happy through this blog like I was given hope from people who have Alopecia.
No matter what we look like, I believe that if we smile, everyone around us also smiles.

I used to wear wigs, hats and beanies, but now I don't wear any.
While I was living abroad, I got comfortable not wearing them.
(Althought I need to wear beanies in winter time otherwise I'll get cold)

ABOUT THIS BLOG

I'm going to write about life in a foreign country especially cityscapes, food, cafes and useful living information in this blog.
<Living abroad> is always my dream.
living abroad has always been my dream.
I went to Canada for learning English for a year when I was 24 years old.
And then I lived in Ireland for about 2 years using a working holiday visa and a student visa.
Now I've lived in Germany since February this year.
There was a time I was depressed because of losing all of my hair, but I never gave up my dream.
I thought I should enjoy my life so I took one step and my world changed.
I realised how important it is to be myself and believe my heart.

I would be happy if you liked my blog.
I want to make people smile.

Feel free to ask/follow me on Instagram, facebook and twitter.

Thank you for reading.
